ISABELLA

GOMEZ-BARRIENTOS

Who’s she?

Hey there! Take a seat (or stay sat for those of you viewing this on your desktop) and let me introduce myself. I’m Isabella Gomez-Barrientos and I’m a performer based in the wonderful Windy City.

Born and raised in the Chicago neighborhood, Pilsen, I traded one snow filled land for another and began my theater education at The University at Buffalo. I earned my BFA in Music Theatre and minors in Education and Dance before returning to my hometown to begin this wonderful adventure.

To state my mission as an artist directly: I strive to tell new stories that expose audiences to perspectives different from their own. I believe it is extremely important to represent all people in our stories as it can help us realize we’re all more similar than we think.

When I’m not playing pretend professionally, you can find me baking pumpkin muffins (a hot commodity among my friends), reading my latest library book, or trying the newest local coffee shop on my long list of trendy spots.
